58I have been to quite a few european countries but Holland, Amsterdam really surpassed my expectations! Not sure of what to expect at first, I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the scenery.
Amsterdam is very tourist-friendly as you can go around the city in buses, trams, metro, bikes or even on foot!
It is a city that combines culture (with many interesting museums) and entertainment. Here are some of the pictures I took there.

Good pictures! Looks like you had mixed weather - same summer all over Europe in 2008. Hope you missed the worst of the rain.
